【Aluminum Prices Slightly Increased on the First Trading Day After the Holiday, Secondary Aluminum Market Remains Sluggish】On the first trading day after the holiday, SHFE aluminum moved downwards after a higher opening. Spot SMM A00 aluminum prices rose by 20 yuan/mt compared to the last trading day before the holiday, reaching 20,140 yuan/mt, while secondary aluminum prices remained unchanged. For domestic prices, large domestic secondary aluminum enterprises maintained their quotes at 20,800-21,100 yuan/mt, while small and medium-sized plants kept their quotes steady at 20,500-20,700 yuan/mt. On the import side, overseas prices for imported ADC12 slightly decreased to the range of 2,420-2,450 USD/mt, and the real-time profit for imported ADC12 improved from previous losses to near the break-even point. Although secondary aluminum plants gradually resumed production starting from the sixth day of the holiday, both upstream and downstream sectors largely remained in holiday mode, resulting in a sluggish market atmosphere with limited transactions. Most manufacturers maintained their pre-holiday quotes. Demand has not yet fully recovered, but raw material costs continue to provide some support for ADC12 prices. In the short term, prices are expected to undergo narrow fluctuations.

Note: Import profits refer to real-time profit
